Cultural Expressions

As our culture seems to be domianted by words, other ways to communicate, present, and express have been neglected.

There seems to be a need to not only focus on:

symbols

icons

indexes

but how they connect and interweave.

You can think about the Chinese writing but also about maps and models, how they can help to combine, merge and morph meanings and so form new "composites", new architectures of meaning. Supesigns and superstructures they are called.
